The Dad Who Didn’t Break

I grew up being told I would be nothing, learning to stay small and survive other people’s opinions. But I did not stay there. I built a life anyway, one decision at a time.

This story follows my journey through love, moving countries, and starting over from sofas and long commutes, before fatherhood arrived in the hardest way, as my children were rushed through delivery suites, into NICU, and into the waiting rooms that change a family forever. It continues through the battles that followed, including Luca’s heart condition and surgeries, and the lessons those moments carved into me about fear, strength, and showing up.

This is not a highlight reel. It is an honest story about resilience, community, and learning to live without letting fear drive your life.
