Our Story
Haijahr was born from a moment of change.
When Ashley was made redundant, he could have built another profit-driven business. Instead, he chose to create something with real meaning, a business that helps others in a truly valuable way.
As a father of two NICU babies, Ashley understood the challenges families face in their toughest moments. He saw that charities were doing incredible work but were struggling to connect with businesses that could help fund or support their missions. This gap revealed an opportunity to do things differently.
Initially, Haijahr was focused on connecting businesses with charities. Over time, we expanded our services to help businesses of all sizes integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into every aspect of their operations. Through CSR consultancy, publishing, workshops, and speaking engagements, Haijahr creates human-led partnerships that deliver lasting results. We help businesses align their values with their operations and implement practical, sustainable solutions that drive positive change.
The name “Haijahr” is deeply personal. It comes from the way Ashley’s son greets him each morning, a reminder of love, connection, and purpose. It signifies that true change always starts with people.
Our mission is straightforward: to help businesses discover their purpose through CSR. We guide them to implement sustainable practices such as waste reduction, energy efficiency, and ethical sourcing, alongside traditional CSR initiatives. These practices not only improve the bottom line but also strengthen their brand and create long-term value in the community.
At Haijahr, we believe in the power of collaboration. Our work ensures that businesses and organisations are not just working in silos, but driving meaningful change together, one partnership at a time.
How do you pronounce Haijahr?
It is inspired by our son, Luca. He is our mascot and our reminder that every change starts with people, not systems.
