At Haijahr, we believe in the power of giving back to the community, and yesterday was a truly special day for us. We had the privilege of visiting the NICU at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where our founder, Ashley Johnson, shared his personal journey through the NICU with families currently experiencing similar challenges.
This was our very first NICU talk, and it was a deeply moving experience. Ashley, having walked this difficult path as the father of two NICU babies, shared his story to offer hope and encouragement to the families in the ward. His message was simple: you are not alone, and there is always support available.
We are also incredibly grateful to Morrisons for supporting this event. Thanks to their generosity, we were able to bring donations for both the unit and gifts for the parents. Ashley’s daughter also played a special role, personally handing out the gifts to parents with a heartfelt touch.
We want to take a moment to express our gratitude to the amazing NICU staff at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Their care, dedication, and compassion make a world of difference to families during some of the toughest times in their lives.
Looking Ahead: Our Next NICU Talk
We’re thrilled to announce that our next NICU talk is in discussion and could be held at the James Paget University Hospital. Our mission is to bring this support to as many NICU families as possible, sharing stories, offering advice, and providing donations to make their journey a little easier.
We look forward to continuing this journey and reaching more families, one NICU talk at a time.
